I encourage you to ask me any questions. I trully believe the best home for my puppies is with one I can communicate with.

Think that a tinier Yorkie is better?? Think again.  According to the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America, extremely small Yorkies- sometimes called "micro-mini" or "teacup" Yorkies- potentially carry a big load of trouble for themselves and their owners.

The YTCA website notes that full-grown Yorkshire Terrier who wergh less than 4 pounds are much more likely to have serious health problems than Yorkies whose weight falls within the recommended range of 4 to 7 pounds. Those problems include birth defects, poor or even fatal reactions to anesthesia, and a greater likeliood of being injured by falls or being stepped on. In addition, tiny Yorkie puppies need more frquent feeding, almost constant care may have even  more trouble with housetraining than their more normal-sized counterparts.
